For this school assignment, I worked with a fictional nonprofit organization of my creation to create a direct mail ad campaign. For my design, I chose to create a nonprofit that focused on aiding those affected by homelessness called HouseLink.
The best way to get consumers to read an ad is to get them to interact with it. I decided to include a cardboard cutout of a house that readers can pop out of the ad, and fold into a small model house. This cutout includes the HouseLink logo and a hashtag to encourage readers to photograph and share the house on social media to reach a wider audience.
In addition to the direct mail ad, I was also required to create images to be used for the social media of the fictional nonprofit. I used stock images converted to black and white to match the design of the mail ad and laid the house template over them to further incorporate them into the design of the ad.

For this project, I was required to redesign the cover of one of our favourite books. This assignment focused on the use of creative and experimental typography to portray the story of the novel.
If you've ever read Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis, you might recall some symbolism involving food and milk. The book is about a man's sudden overnight transformation into a giant insect and as his family tries to feed him milk, he realizes he has lost his sense of taste, self, and humanity all in one night.
I used 10% cream to physically paint the title of the book on my kitchen table. I then photographed it and edited the image in Photoshop to adjust the image as needed.

For this assignment, we were tasked with redesigning the logo/packaging for an existing product. Being a tattoo enthusiast, Tattoo Goo was an obvious choice for me. The existing packaging I felt needed to be modernized and made more exciting for prospective customers.
I think tattoo products are often intimidating in their branding, and I wanted to create something more soft and approachable that would encourage people to take care of their tattoos and their skin in general. I took inspiration from popular skincare brands and their packaging. I created a soft illustrated background with some classic traditional tattoo illustrations and kept it to a monotone theme in a soft blue to inspire
feelings of trust and care.

The Design 4 Change project at Fanshawe is a collaboration between third-year graphic design students and local nonprofit organizations. For this school project, I was tasked with individually developing a logo and branding concepts for the event.
I liked the idea of using a blank globe illustration as a way to symbolize change and the ability to make a change to the world, a bit of a play of "the world is what you make of it". I used a bold font intertwined with the globe illustration and opted for a black, white and yellow colour palette to symbolize creativity and harmony.
In addition to creating a logo and swag mockups, I also used Figma to create an image carousel to be used in an Instagram post to promote the event.

This assignment allowed me to exercise my illustration abilities. I was asked to create an illustrative design for a fictional coffee company (which had been established in a previous assignment). The goal set out for me by the project specs was to create a design that would look and feel expensive and sophisticated.
I wanted my design to be impactful, with high contrast and a strong central figure. The fictional coffee company I had previously created was inspired by art nouveau motifs and butterflies, and so I continued that theme into this project.

For this school assignment, we were tasked with redesigning an existing logo and creating a branded stationery package with our design. I chose to create a logo for the London student music collective, Stompbox.

For this school project, I was tasked with creating a 12-page magazine including a contents page, front cover, three original ads, and three articles. This project was intended to allow me to demonstrate the efficiency of my workflow and file organization as well as my ability to effectively use Adobe InDesign and create effective, interesting layouts.
For my magazine concept, I chose to incorporate my experience with London's music scene to create a magazine focused on the underground punk scene and its politics.
There was also a promotional aspect to this assignment where I made a short promotional video as well as an EPUB using InDesign.

For this school project, we were tasked with creating new logos for the Occupational and Physiotherapy Clinic and the Oral Health Clinic at Fanshawe College. These two new logos had to look cohesive with the existing logo for the Mend Clinic at the Fanshawe College Wellness Centre. In addition to creating these logos, we created high-fidelity interactive prototypes for a potential website to be used by all three clinics at the Wellness Centre.
For my design, I chose to use different shapes and colours for the other clinics, to make them stand out from the existing Mend logo while also drawing some relation between them. I also incorporated the red colour already established by the Mend logo to create a primary colour palette to be used in the logos including a soft blue and mustard to further tie the three logos together.

this project was used as an introduction to using Figma to create low and high-fidelity wireframes for a wellness application. I chose to work with a fictional guided meditation/sound library app I called Sund. I used Figma to create a brand identity and interactive prototype for the app.
